Product Credit is money being refunded back in account credit that can be used on a future order. Also referred to as Store Credit or AR.

Wholesale Customer FAQ's

What are the benefits of a Wholesale Customer account?
A Wholesale Customer receives the same discount as a Wellness Advocate, but cannot earn commissions by sharing products. A Social Security Number is not required to open a Wholesale Customer account. Wholesale Customers can also enroll in the Loyalty Rewards Program to earn points with every purchase, free oils and bonus points for shipping costs too. If you intend on making a long-term change to healthy living and natural products, but not sure you want to be a Wellness Advocate (run your own doTERRA business) then Wholesale Customer is much better than a retail customer as you can save anywhere from 25-55% on products as time goes on. 
Can a Wholesale Customer resell dōTERRA Products?
No. Wholesale Customers cannot resell dōTERRA products. This customer type is defined as purchasing product for personal use only. If a Wholesale Customer wants to resell products they must first upgrade their account to Wellness Advocate.

Can Wholesale Customers participate in the Loyalty Rewards Program?
Yes. Wholesale Customers can participate in the Loyalty Rewards Program and I highly, highly recommend it! Over time you'll earn up to 55% off your doTERRA purchases when you participate in the Loyalty Rewards Program.

Can a Wholesale Customer transfer into a Wellness Advocateposition?

Can Wholesale Customers have a replicated website?
No. Wholesale Customers do not have the ability to enroll other people, so they do not have access to a replicated mydoterra.com website.

Can I have both a Wellness Advocate Account and a Wholesale Customer Account?
No, each individual or married couple is only allowed one Wellness Advocate account OR one Wholesale Customer account.

How do I upgrade from Wholesale Customer to Wellness Advocate?
Upon login to the doterra.com back office, a Wholesale Customer will see a button in the upper right hand corner of the screen that is titled, “Become a Wellness Advocate.” At this point, the Wholesale Customer can follow the prompts to enter their Social Security Number (SSN) securely, and agree to the Wellness Advocate Terms and Conditions. Then, there will be a prompt to save changes. Once this is done, the Wholesale Customer is instantly upgraded to a Wellness Advocate account.

What is the dōTERRA Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP)?
The doTERRA Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP) is a program that provides free product credits for monthly purchases ordered on the program. As a participant in the Loyalty Rewards Program, you will immediately begin to earn product credits that can be used as cash to purchase doTERRA products. The longer you participate, the more credits you can earn—up to 30% of your total monthly Loyalty Rewards purchases PLUS an additional 25% off with your Wholesale Customer membership! (See Loyalty Rewards Program terms and conditions.)

  • Months 1-3 earn 10% in credits
  • Months 4-6 earn 15% in credits
  • Months 7-9 earn 20% in credits
  • Months 10-12 earn 25% in credits
  • Months 13+ earn 30% in credits
The Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP) is an optional, monthly auto-shipment that enables Wellness Advocates and Wholesale Customers to qualify for rewards. Your monthly LRP order is saved on a cart in your account. You can change what you receive every month by editing the contents in the cart before your selected processing date. Once opted into the LRP, your benefits include:

1) Earning Loyalty Rewards Program points.
If your LRP order contains at least 50 PV*, you will earn a percentage of that PV back in points that you can redeem for free product. The longer you place orders of at least 50 PV on the program, the larger the percentage you earn back grows.

2) Qualifying for Commissions.
With a monthly LRP order of at least 100 PV*, you can qualify to earn commissions from Fast Start, Power of Three, and Unilevel Bonuses.

3) Qualifying for the Product of the Month.
You can qualify to receive our free Product of the Month if you place an LRP order of at least 125 PV within the 1–15 of the month. This oil changes monthly, and will be added to your order automatically when you meet the qualifications. The Product of the Month can be earned only once a month.

4) Earning Full Shipping Rewards Program points.
You have the potential to earn 100 percent of your shipping cost back in points on every LRP order you place. Shipping Rewards Program (SRP) points, like LRP points, can be redeemed for free product. Things to Note:

How do I place LRP orders (Loyalty Rewards Program)?
Log into your Virtual Office at www.mydoterra.com. You will automatically be brought to the "Shop" page. There will be a module outlined in purple that reads "Scheduled LRP Orders". Under the header, you will see a list of all active LRP orders associated with your account.

Click on the grey button that contains the LRP number of the LRP you are wishing to edit.

From there, one can either:

  • Edit Items: Add Items by either 1) Clicking on the "Continue Shopping" button that is located on the bottom left of each page. From here, you will be able to browse through products and add them to their LRP order by selecting "Add to cart" or 2) Typing the whole or partial name in the "Quick Add to Cart" option that is located on the top of the items area on the LRP page. When you are ready to view the totals of the order as it currently stands, select "View totals", which is located in the "Order Summary" module to the right of your items. If you are satisfied with the changes, click on "Save Changes". Your items have now been updated.
  • Edit Shipping: To change ship to address, select the "Edit" option located next to "Ship To" near the top of the page. Shipping method can be edited on the right hand side of the page in the order summary module.
  • Edit Payment: To edit card information, select "Edit" located next to "Payment" near the top of the page. Here, cards can be edited, added, and deleted.

Please note..

  • All Loyalty rewards orders must run the 1st-28th of the month.
  • Changes to LRP orders must be made before midnight (Mountain Standard Time) of the processing date.
  • LRP orders may be created or changed online. However, the last LRP Order cannot be canceled or deleted online. If you "zero out" your last LRP order online, the changes will not be saved and you will continue to receive your order. Please contact Member Services to permanently delete the last LRP template.
How do I opt-in to loyalty order reminders and shipping updates via text?
Follow these steps in order to opt-in to Loyalty order reminders and shipping updates via text:

  1. Log in to doterra.com
  2. Click your name in the top right corner
  3. Select "Account Profile" from the menu
  4. Scroll down to "My Notification Settings"
  5. Click "Manage Notification Preferences"
  6. This will bring you to a new page where you can click the box to receive a Loyalty Order reminder text a couple days before your Loyalty Order is set to process as well as an initial shipping notification when your orders ship.
  7. Click the "Save" button

Note: You must have a mobile number in order to opt-in to the text reminder. To add a moblie number follow these steps:

  1. Click on the edit pencil under "My profile" at the top of the "Account Profile" page
  2. Enter the mobile number
  3. Click the "Save" button
What are the benefits of Loyalty Rewards or enrollment orders placed online?
If a Loyalty Rewards or enrollment order is placed online, the consultant or member will receive 100 percent of the shipping costs in SRP points (in essence, free shipping).
What does "online or automated" order mean?
This is an order placed by a Wellness Advocate or Preferred Member online through their back office that remains untouched by a customer service agent.
Rewards Points Overview
Rewards Points are credits earned when you place a qualifying order and can be redeemed for doTERRA product. There are two programs available that offer Rewards Points as a benefit when you participate.

  1. The Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP) awards Rewards Points based on the Personal Volume (PV) of your LRP order of 50 PV or higher.
  2. The Shipping Rewards Program (SRP) awards Rewards Points based on the value of the shipping costs of your orders.
Though earned separately, these two types of Rewards Points are added to the same total, and can be redeemed under the same conditions.

Rules
  • Points can be redeemed for 12 months from the date of issue, after which they expire.
  • Points cannot be used towards fees, renewals, Limited Time Offers, or items without PV.
  • SRP points cannot be used towards shipping costs.
  • Points have no cash value, are not transferable, and are non-refundable.
  • Any items purchased with points are final and cannot be returned.
  • Points can be redeemed for a $3.00 fee.

Additional Guidelines:
  • All LRP points will be void if participation in the LRP program is cancelled. SRP points will remain on the account if the LRP program is cancelled.
  • Points are redeemed in the order that they were earned. The oldest points on the account will be used first, regardless of point type (LRP vs SRP).

What are product points?
Product points are earned points that can be cashed in for more doTERRA products through the Loyalty Rewards Program.

How do product points work?
Product points accumulate from each LRP order you place. The percentage of product points that you earn (ranging from 10 to 30 percent) depends on the type of enrollment kit you purchase when you sign up as a Wellness Advocate. Product point percentages will grow every quarter until you reach a maximum of 30 percent. Additionally, when you place your order online, you earn 100 percent of your shipping costs back as points.

When to Expect My Points
Product credit is added to your account the 15th–20th of the month following the order. If the 15th falls on a weekend, the product credit will be delayed until Monday.

What is the Product of the Month Club?
Each product has been assigned a value of Personal Volume (PV). When you purchase doTERRA products, your PV increases. When your PV reaches 125 on your Loyalty Rewards order, the product of the month will be automatically added onto your LRP order. The product of the month can be earned only once a month on the Loyalty Rewards Program by placing an order of 125 PV or more between the first and fifteenth of the month.
What does PV stand for?
PV stands for Personal Volume. Each doTERRA product has been assigned a value of PV. When you purchase doTERRA products, your PV increases.
